How do I download and install my new sample library or virtual instrument?
After getting your serial number in your order, download and install your library or instrument by following the instructions provided here.
What is Kontakt, and is it required to use your products?
Kontakt is a software sampler developed by Native Instruments that hosts virtual instruments. Yes, it is required to use our products.
Do I need the full version of Kontakt, or will the free Kontakt Player work?
You do not need the full version of Kontakt. Our libraries are designed to work with the free Kontakt Player and are also fully compatible with the full version of Kontakt.
What is Native Access, and why do I need it?
Native Access is a software application from Native Instruments used to download, install, activate, and update our products, including Kontakt Player libraries. You need it to register your serial number and install your library or instrument through Native Access to run it properly within Kontakt or Kontakt Player.
Does the installation require an internet connection?
Yes. An internet connection is required to register, authorize, download, and install the product via Native Access. Offline installation is not currently supported.
What are the typical system requirements for these libraries?
Our products require a computer capable of running Kontakt or Kontakt Player, which are available for both macOS and Windows. For the most up-to-date general requirements of Kontakt or Kontakt Player, please refer to Native Instruments’ website. Specific system requirements for each product are listed on its respective product page.
Licensing and Usage Rights
Are these sample libraries royalty-free? Can I use them in commercial music without extra fees?
Yes, our products are royalty-free. You may use them in original music or media productions, including commercial projects, without paying additional fees.
Can I use these sounds in library music, film scores, games, or other media productions?
Yes, you may use our products in music, sound design, film scores, games, and other media, as long as the sounds are part of an original composition or production.
Are there any restrictions on modifying the samples or using them to create my own instruments?
Yes, you may not use the content to create new sample libraries, virtual instruments, or soundpacks, nor may you redistribute or reuse source content as standalone material.
Is there a limit to how many computers I can install the library on?
You may install the library on up to two computers, such as a desktop and a laptop, as long as both are used solely by you and not simultaneously by others.
Is the license for the library tied to one user? Can I share the library or license with a friend or collaborator?
The license is personal and non-transferable. It is assigned to a single user and may not be shared or used by others, including friends or collaborators.
Can I resell or transfer my library to someone else if I no longer need it?
Resale or license transfer is not permitted. Licenses may not be listed or redistributed through secondary marketplaces or private sale. In exceptional cases, we may consider a transfer at our sole discretion, which may be subject to a processing fee.
Do you offer educational discounts?
We don’t currently offer educational discounts, but we’re open to reviewing individual requests at our discretion. We may also explore broader educational pricing in the future.
DAW/Host Software Integration
Will the instrument work in my DAW (Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Pro Tools, etc.)?
Yes, our instruments run within Kontakt or the free Kontakt Player, which are compatible with all major DAWs that support VST, AU, or AAX plugins, including Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Pro Tools, and others.
How do I load the instrument in my DAW after installing it?
After installing and activating the library through Native Access, open Kontakt or Kontakt Player as a plugin within your DAW. Then, use the Library tab or browser within Kontakt to load the instrument.
Can I run the instrument standalone, or do I need to use it inside a DAW?
You can run the instrument in the standalone version of Kontakt or Kontakt Player without a DAW. However, for full production capabilities, using it within a DAW is recommended.
Do these libraries support NKS or integration with Komplete Kontrol keyboards?
Yes, our libraries support the NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) format, allowing seamless integration with Komplete Kontrol keyboards and software, including pre-mapped controls and visual feedback.
Product Updates and Maintenance
How do I update my library or plugin to the latest version?
Updates are delivered through Native Access. If an update is available, it will appear in your Native Access app under the “Available updates” section. Simply click “Update” to install the latest version.
Will updating the library (or its engine) affect my existing projects?
Updates are designed to be backward compatible. However, we recommend backing up your project and verifying compatibility before updating, especially if you’re in the middle of a production cycle.
Are updates free, or do I have to pay for new versions?
Updates are free for all licensed users. If a major paid expansion or new version is released as a separate product, it will be clearly indicated.
How will I know when an update is available?
We inform customers and subscribers about updates via email. Native Access will also display the latest version and any available updates when you log in.
How do I re-download or reinstall my library if I get a new computer or had to wipe my system?
You can re-download and reinstall the library through Native Access using your original serial number. Make sure you’re logged into the same Native Instruments account used for the initial activation.
Do libraries get new features or sounds with updates, or are those only in paid expansions?
Updates may include improvements, features, or new content. Major additions are typically paid expansions, but we may include new sounds in free updates at our discretion.
Refunds and Trials
What is the refund policy? Can I get my money back if I don’t like the library?
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a product has been downloaded or activated. We may consider exceptions at our sole discretion in extraordinary cases. Please review product details carefully before purchasing.
Is there a trial or demo version I can use before purchasing?
We do not offer trial or demo versions at this time. To help inform your decision, we provide detailed product descriptions, audio demos, and walkthroughs on each product page.

Is customer support available if I encounter problems? What are your response times?
